If you're standing around, stretch your legs a bit by standing up on your toes and then gradually drop to your heals. There sure are a LOT of weight management tips across the internet, and after my research it appears finding the facts from trustworthy sources is harder than it seems. Heck, I’m a doctor and had trouble verifying a lot of this stuff, so how is someone without a medical degree supposed to find accurate and safe info? Today I’m taking a look at some popular weight loss tips around the internet to tell you what’s real and and what’s not.

  2. I think everyone should be practicing intuitive eating habits and it should be taught in schools and homes as a basic healthy habit especially considering the obesity epidemic

  3. I'm with Dr. Mike here on the whey powder issue. Eat your protein. You'll be better for it and you'll feel better. Especially if you're trying to lose weight. Now if you're a bodybuilder trying to do a "clean bulk," then yeah, you may have no more room in that tummy. Consuming extra protein in the form of a powder may be your best option to retain and increase your muscle mass without adding too much unwanted adipose tissue (body fat).
